Well they kind of do have some special abalties. They can:

  Run you around the feild
  and mostlikley a couple other things

So there not completley usless.

I dont know about some of you guys but the Japanese name for the game really has a nice ring to it. And it also makes tons of sense concidering its the last installment to the game and you most likley quarantine (or stop the virus).
