...... You all may think it's funny, but think about how the poor person stuck with doing the translation/subtitling feels? Though admittedly, they could probably fill a page with 'Onii-chan!' 'Rena!!' 'Onii-chan!!' 'RENAA!!' and be about 78% accurate, which again, would be better than Anime Junkies...

Errmm, Sora, I thinnk they meant the admins etc. in the manga not here, or did you not mean to post that here or something. No, Xebexz, I meant to post that here. It was an analogy to help people understand the relationship of a Game Master to a System Administrator in terms that may be more famili...

Think of it like the difference between Bear, the Sysadmin, and the rest of us moderators. We take care of all the board matters that have to do with reading topics, locking, PMing people, etc etc. While he does some of that too, his job is mostly on the technical side of things. IE, he deals with r...

Moderating in Moderation
Okay, so perhaps I'm not usually the type to make announcements, but I would like to ask that those users who have been doing their own form of 'moderating' please stop x_x; We appreciate the effort and the meaning behind it, but the majority of those posts are needless and, in the end, come across ...
Xebexz, you may be correct in assuming this post will be locked and deleted later, but to be honest, these 'Uh oh, now you're gonna get it!' kinda posts are pointless and just making it worse. You provide little to no information in them aside from 'Uh oh, you're in trouble' and thus, are spamming u...

Probably not. Since .hack is a merchandising scheme, the main point is to make as much money as possible and to lose as little as possible. Doing as you suggested would.. A) Make them pay more money to all the people who are working under license B) Put them at risk financially. Keep in mind, if the...

Reki is classified as a GM (Game Master, but I think most people know that), and so his outfit corresponds to his position. It's similar, at least in my mind, to the special GM outfits you get on Ragnarok Online. This information I got from the Rena Special manga booklet that came with the model, wh...

CC2, AKA CyberConnect2, is the company that made the .hack games. Yes, CC corp is more or less a self-insert by CC2 into the .hack universe. They're weird like that. The chances of there being a .hack MMORPG are extremely slim at this time, since the creators seem to have no intention of making a re...

..... x_x Allow me to explain a little something that some people may have missed. Just because a topic is locked, it doesn't mean that it was necessarily a bad topic, or that it offended us, but many times we moderators consider a topic to have no more room for further discussion. Questions that ha...
