Roughly early-mid November, I gather. Anime on DVD has it listed as 11/04/2003. For the limited edition, anyway. Not sure about the last dvd's contents. It's not even listed for release from what I've seen, so perhaps a month or so they'll have info.

If Tpop doesn't have the info on their site, other online stores that have it for pre-order should have some rough release date.

Balmung is only in episode 22 of .hack//SIGN, but the dvd cover shown there is from vol. 9 of the Japanese dvds. I believe they only stuck two episodes per disc as well. I think the other cd box included in that set is just that- a case for the cds. There's only several .hack//SIGN soundtracks- two ...

Aslan.... there really is no reason to direct your comments at a poster in general- everyone is entitled to their own opinions and should know this. The anime couldn't possibly follow the manga directly since it progressed much more quickly than the manga. But it was a real series..although sure to cause confusion since there are two versions of the same thing- but then lots of anime/manga series have done that. Sailor Moon R's first half totall...

The ultimate decision would rest with Bandai and CC Corp. As of what's been said by them in interviews, there hasn't been a definite plan to make "The World" a real MMORPG, as they much liked how they were making it seem that way even when it really wasn't. It's what makes the .hack series...
