I was wondering why the layout was still the phpbb forum... If you would like, i could probably design a few quick layouts for the board that you can look at...

Terra and myself are planning on creating a dedicated server to allow for rp... If anybody would be interested in joining it, it will have unlimited bandwidth usage due to the fact that the server will be in our house... Though the connection may seem a little slow at times due to the limited upload...

Sounds like a problem one of my friends was having... Possibility that your power supply is putting out too much power, or your having heavy power spikes... That's about all i can think of for reasons from what i heard...
