Reki's being lazy again.

So, I finally got to look through the new issue, and first off, I'll mention it comes with a rather nice special CD soundtrack of twelve tracks from the game, presented by CyberConnect2.

Also, there's a special interview with Hiroshi Matsuyama (CC2) and Daisuke Uchiyama (Bandai Game something Producer), featuring some shots of a character design for what looks to be a game in the works for the Playstation 2. 1 player, communication RPG. And apparently, one of the classes for this new game is, in fact, a gunner. The heading title on the pages is "GU", but there's no clear explanation as to what it stands for, and my Japanese is a bit shoddy for translation (not to mention my kanji reading stinks).

Hm. So, could this possibly be the next step towards "The World"?

Eeeehh? Balmung-san, I wasn't being lazy! You're just the one with the book, how am I supposed to update when I don't have it.....

Eheh, anyway! Yes, a Communication RPG! We're not sure what this means, but perhaps it has to do with the PS2 modem accessory that will allow you to connect and trade with other players online? As far as we know, the PS2 does not have a link cord that is required for other Communication RPGs, but the modem accessory would work just as well--

And perhaps it's more than trading! Mina-sama, this may be like Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles in that, while you can play it with just one player, to connect and play with others makes it that much more fun!

This is just speculation, of course, but please be on the lookout for more information!

Although I did much like that farfetched idea we thought up- connecting multiple PS2s together to make an uber-system just to play one game. Ha ha ha ha!
