The INFO part of .hack//INFO! (PLEASE READ!)

Well, I've been doing a lot of thinking about our policy on not offering to answer game-help questions.

I still do not intend to open this place up for questions..

HOWEVER, we -would- like to provide information where we can.

Now, none of us really feel like devoting our time and ourselves to this task on our own, but we'd like to ask if the members of this board would like to work on compiling some help documents that we can host and link to. Not a FAQ, per se, but things like..

1) Effective strategy against bosses/monsters

2) Names of characters that are good to trade with, and where/when to find them

3) Grunty food location and 'recipes' for different grunties

4) A loose outline of the plot in each game, meaning, 'after you've done this, this is what you could/should do next', in case someone gets lost.

5) A listing of skills/spells

6) A beastiary

Things like that, if people want to write them as individuals or as a group effort (say, devoting a thread to the creation of a beastiary, I'd keep that as a sticky in the game forum), I'm up for it, providing people stay, for the most part, on task. Finished products we can either host here on the board, or create a separate page for them that we can link to (A separate page might be better for organization purposes).

I'll start a thread in the game forum so everyone can talk about it.
