I've been hired to do important announcements for the .hack//INFO so the other moderators can concentrate on their own duties!
De wa, this is today's important announcement!
We're compiling a list of all the available official .hack merchandise. We'll post it here sometime for everyone's information and reference. There's more stuff being released all the time, we'll update it when we can!
But for the meantime, here are some of the newest that we've seen!
.hack//Mobile
A cellphone game in Japan for .hack! Wow, it's really taking over the net, isn't it? How exciting! It's not 3-D, of course, but instead done with some lovely looking sprites! I'm not sure how it's played, if I had a cellphone that got that service, I'd love to find out. I wonder if anyone else knows anything about this? If you know something, post it in the Liminality/Games forum, please!
Rena's Room
It's an official chatroom for .hack//Udeden! It's really neat, I think. It's a little program where you control a small sprite and can wander around Mac Anu talking to other fans of .hack//Udeden or .hack in general! Of course, most people only speak Japanese, but maybe someone will speak another language. It's worth a try, I think! You can also customize your sprites somehow, but I haven't looked into that yet.

Rare Hunter
This isn't really new, but this is the .hack//Dusk manga short found in the first 'The World' magazine. It's a Mireiyu side story, and it's very very cute! Apparently someone has translated it (unofficially, of course) into English, but I can't tell you where, that's against our policies ^^;
If you know where to look, though, it won't be hard to find.
.hack//Zero
This isn't that new either, but for those who haven't seen it mentioned in the .hack//AI Buster forum, this is a novel sidestory for .hack. It features a female long arm, whom I hear is somehow related to Sora-myon himself? Or is he just in the story? Maa, I'll just have to get my hands on it and see for myself, won't I?
.hack//Udeden Character Song and Story
This is probably my favorite! This is a CD featuring mini-dramas by the .hack//Udeden cast! Balmung-san and I play a large part in it, it's really quite amazing! Of course, he gets a little spastic sometimes, but I think he's just working off his stress. After all, he's not on duty at the time, he can cut back, ne?
There are a few songs, including 'Dusk' sung by Rena-chan herself! There's also a song by Shugo and Rena, 'Travel in Mind'. I think it's very very nice! But don't let Balmung OR Sanjuro near the microphone, please....
I think this is an amazing CD, if you can, please order it legally!
.hack//The World CCG
At this point, we are determined to translate the instruction booklet and as many cards as we can so English-speaking .hack fans can play as well! The rules seem to be mostly like the playing card game 'War', but a little fancier, ne? There are also advanced rules you can use, and we'll try to translate those, too.
.hack//SIGN Trading Cards
We'll also try to make a list of these, once we aquire the checklist cards!
As these cards are in the same packets, I should have included them in the same category, but.. well, they ARE a little different, right? Anyway, you can find the packs of these at almost any US anime convention, they're very popular!
