When does //SIGN make some actually useful plot movement and development?
I wish they had made it shorter, 15 episodes maybe because 15 episodes is the only number of episode with some development.

sign is completely plot driven.... and when there isn't a whole lot of plot movement in an episode, there's usually something that sheds some light on tsukasa's past or talks about the key of the twilight....
In my opinion, the plot doesnt start to get more involved or rather pick up story wise is with the Twilight Eye,which is the episode coming this weekend.Basically when I first saw it,yeah,it was slow, but the more I kept watching it,you get more and more info later on about Tsukasa and along with other things. But mainly,Twilight Eye and beyond are my fav episodes.

That's because there is a lot of character development, which tends to be rare in the anime CN shows. DBZ being an excellent example of bad character development.
Sure, there's SOME. But in .hack//SIGN, it's almost all plot, very little action, except in the first and last few episodes.

streeeeeching it out and not explaning everything in the first episode or so, the way they do is what makes //SIGN so great. although i've only seen 6 episodes.
