Unfortunately, unless CN changes it, the next episode will be a filler and will tell you squat.
So...
Bear and Mimiru "survive". It's a game for them, after all. They just reappear in Don Loireag, presumably after being reset. Or not being reset, and instead Gating Out. Whichever. They appear at Theta Server, unharmed.
Tsukasa. Tsukasa, Tsukasa, Tsukasa. He dies, temporarily, IRL. Morgana drags his data back, however, with much pain and suffering on his part, reviving him. Bear tells us that he was revived IRL as well, though there is debating as to whether he lies or not about it.
So, Morgana would have 2 revive Tsukasa, in order 4 Tsukasa 2 have negative thoughts so, Morgana could create Dark Aura.FireDraconian wrote:
Ehhh....
I don't think Morganna revived Tsukasa directly. I think he reforms his consciousness on his own. Similar to what happens later, when she does something much worse. And "Dark Aura" isn't the goal, just part of the process of keeping Aura asleep. Notice that "Dark Aura" starts to have holes in her programing later. (By her feet) So not just keeping Aura asleep, I think by attaching Aura to someone she's trying to destroy mentally, I think Morganna is sidestepping some programmed rule that she can't directly destroy Aura.
woah, i just noticed, Tsukasa is just like Neo from the matrix, when he(or she, w/e) feels pain or dies in the game(the matrix) s/he feels it irl. and s/he is hooked up to a game thing like the matrix (only cant get out[for a while]) thass all i gotta say
Damned CT better skip the next episode so we get more info! or play two at a time. that'd be cool (beans)

T__T WTF?
Ok, let's go over what... ACTUALLY happened. Omfg.
Tsukasa's MIND is trapped in the game and, the body depends on the mind to live. Now that we have that basic ground covered.
Also, the thing about Tsukasa "dying" is from a TOTALLY DIFFERENT EPISODE - the one where her father pulls the plug. He debates telling MIMIRU that Tsuaksa almost died. But, basically - he was Data Drained protecting Mimiru which triggers a huge angry hissy fit with Morgana because he proved he had friends, and she doesn't want him to. However, as we know from Ginkan's case, the Guardians Data Drain is liek, Ghetto 2nd Rate Data Drain. So, in a very simple way of putting things: He respawns at his "save point" [Aura's Domain, we assume Morgana set that] because his PC died in-game from the Guardians attack. However, he felt the pain of the Guardian because his mind is totally in the game, and he couldn't go into a coma again, seeing as how he already WAS in a coma.
and god said unto cain, "wow you're pretty stupid."
Also, as Tsukasa is totally immersed in the game, he experiences everything as he would in the real world. The problem is, the game's mechanics would not allow a character to die, rather to 'respawn' them at their last save place. Tsukasa 'dies' in the game, as was shown by his changing grey at the end of the scene... however, he's 'reset' and finds himself back in the area with Aura, as it's a 'saved place' for him, in a sense. The thing is, that unlike anything else, he experiences this as a form of death. BT was asking him about it in episode 17.
It didn't really kill him, but according to the game, he died. Thus he experienced the short death and the 'reset' which was, obviously, incredibly painful to him.
Budget Zen: When you see something so stupid that your mind goes blank rather than try to rationalize it.
Well, if you've missed a bunch of stuff, yeah. If not, then it's basically stuff you already know about. Nothing special.ichi wrote:Now, when you say "filler" episode, is it worth watching? I mean, I will be on my way to Vanderbilt for three weeks, and I have to record anything that I want to watch on TiVo. Just wondering.
