Morgana is The World. Anything in The World Morgana is part of.

People in Net-Slum cannot escape her. She is still aware of what happens there.

The Net Slum is part of The World, thus it is also part of Morgana.

Macha, is an interesting twist, though. ^-^

[spoiler]In the Epitaph, Macha is named as one of the 8 phases. Macha is active in the games, but under the name of Mia. This, in the end, makes Macha an actual part of Morgana and created by her.[/spoiler]

and gender....

[spoiler]Macha is an AI. Macha can be anything that she/he or Morgana wants Macha to be.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]she "linked" his brain with Aura's, so that if he's depressed, Aura will not awaken, and will start to develop into Dark Aura, thus preventing him from exiting "The World" Like the quote at the begining of the series, "...I need you just as you need me."[/spoiler]

Pretty much; they're "connected" like that. And in order to do what Morgana tells him to do, Tsukasa would have to "put himself in Aura."
