In last sat. epp what were those grey block things that appeard by there faces? In this weeks it appears by Aura in red.... Any idea what theese things are?
Are they just to scare people? lol Ahh look a grey block thing! Lets run away...

yeah lol and that noise (same as in Liminatlity (whatever)) is really cool but in the 2nd one it gets REALLY REALLY loud at times and hurts my ears but it goes on for like a min and a half :roll: but its still the BEST COOL SOUNDING sound i never heard lol

You mean the high pitched noise?>< OMG!I covered my ears but wanted to hear them talk..argh,so loud and annoying.It was cool,but I hate it when i'm blasting my TV and then it makes that sound ><

hmm, you mean the epp. where they are in the eye of the twilight or whatever and are talking to that upside down guy? if so, then those blocks were probably to add to the effect that this area was not a real part of "the world" and was somehow outside of it, creating a distortion. i hope im not wrong and confusing you or have the completely wrong thing in mind, that would be bad.

Yeah, the effect makes it feel like the Twilight Zone. The pun was unintentional. I haven't seen liminality, but I remember a tone played during the .hack//infection commercial. You know the one, "Is it just a game, or something more?".

Yeah the square thingy! yeah it was weird but it was also really cool. I think those squares are the same ones from the game .hack, but in .hack there are lines and those lines means that the field was a Restricted Area.....may be it is the same for .hack//SIGN in that episode. May be it was a restricted area and somehow Tsukasa and the others got to that field because of Tsukasa's contact with Aura....

...If it was the same sound as liminality how come it didn't have the same effect as the one did in liminality???

because it wasn't the same as limitality! Sign and limitality are very different. Anyways it may have the same sound as Liminality but it doesn't have the same affect because the serie need to be related to the game, thats why the effects are almost the same in the game and in the serie Sign

huh...? why wouldn't it have the same effect....? it's the same world after all... I understand that they are 2 different series... but it's all in the same game, and yes, they would need to be related... most shows usually have a certain level of continuity... having that same A sound isn't just a coincidence... I think it has something to do with harald...

Well remember that liminality is just what happen in the real world that is affected by the world, liminality is just in the real world and the caused that is having because of the world (the game). The sounds are similar because when Mai Minase was on the game that was the last sound she heard before she enter into a coma. In the game .hack the lines that appears as if it was an interference are caused because the area is restricted.....I'm just saying that may be the area where Tsukasa and the others went was restricted and they could enter because of Tsukasa's comunication with Aura.

The grey squares are to show us that the game is distorted. Just like in the PS2 games, when you Data Drain, or enter a restricted area, you see distortions as you walk around. I can't explain it any better.
