Um... this is an odd question, but...
In the games, the armor you where has NO EFFECT on your appearence...
I'm guessing this is also true in the anime...
what do you mean by "wear down"??? ^^ *is HOPELESS*

Yay! I'm not the only one who's noticed! ...er...thedudewhosadude wrote:yea, take DBZ for example. Nearly every battle Goku loses his shirt, but never his pants, and magically regrows one for the next battle.
@_@; You know, now that we're talking about the whole taking off your clothes in the game deal, I just got a very, -very- bad image in my mind...

Damage realated realism is cool. Like on Demolision Derby. But if .hack where that way, all the women would be forced to wear metal armor or stuff that doesn't fall off. But it's nice to see damage on the peticular spot that was attacked. The blood marks on games like GoldenEye are okay, but you can't blow anyone up(to pieces, fragmentations) cause it's all PG. But clothing wear can also correspond to durability. To bad in Diablo II stuff didn't fall apart when things ran out of durability(swords breaking and such).
BTW Goku can regenerate his own clothes. Like when Piccolo made clothes for Gohan. He'd have to really, or Chichi would get pretty upset(not that she usually isn't).
Goku shows his bare end on Dragon Ball(when he was a kid) quite often. There's a lot of suggestive material in there too. But it's not terrible.

Yeah, I thought that you played the game with a standard controler. What button do you push to ruffle someone's hair? Bear seems to be all over that button.Naegling wrote:If you were playing "The World", you could not take your cloths off, or do many of the movements that the .hack//SIGN characters could.

Speaking of clothing loss due to damage in videogames, has anyone played Tao Feng Fist of the Lotus on Xbox? The characters clothes get ripped to shreds as they fight, and the characters themselves display damage, in terms of bleeding and broken bones. The game itself gets boring quickly, but these features were quite interesting to me.
I'm thinking that either there is an extra controller you can buy or those neural things that sora was talking about in some other thread...Yeah, I thought that you played the game with a standard controler. What button do you push to ruffle someone's hair? Bear seems to be all over that button.
Only in dreams; We see what it means
Reach out our hands; Hold on to hers
But when we wake; It's all been erased
And so it seems; Only in dreams

But, does she even have anything to do with the plot whatsoever except to dance and entertain us with her crazy moves?

I believe in fantasies invisible to me
In the land of misery, I'm searching for a sign
To the door of mystery or dignity
I'm wandering down, and searching down the secret sun

of course not! When my sister first heard obsession, she was like, does that have a video to it, so i showed her, then she started spazing out with her, 'dancing' But back on topic! Yes, that would be an interesting option, take off ur armor! It's like you walk around with black censor bars covering you...

You're only young once, but you're NEVER too old to be immature.
Actually, I kinda ment that one post a while back when some newbie mentioned, "Ohh! What if the players use body suits!" despite that we all know that they use a VR Headset and a Playstation-type controller.
But then again, I would find it rather amusing to walk into a room, seeing a person dressed in this rediculous looking outfit, trying to fight a monster or do something weird. Ah... the possibilities.

Sorry for this getting a bit off topic but,Guynietoren wrote:The blood marks on games like GoldenEye are okay, but you can't blow anyone up(to pieces, fragmentations) cause it's all PG. But clothing wear can also correspond to durability.
is GoldenEye really rated PG? I know that the "sequel", Perfect Dark (same creators, 'Rare'), is rated M, not only for violence, but some swearing as well. I know you can't take off their clothes though, lol. But if you've played, "The Sims" for PS2, and used the No Censor gameshark code, that's a different story. But back on .hack, it would be cool to interact more with the other players, maybe not taking your clothes off infront of them, but like, punching them or pushing them off the bridge in Mac Anu.
