yea...we were just imagining about the corrupted data PC's. It's wxplained that the motionless PC's are away, in //sign and when you meet mistral.

Corrupted Data- [spoiler]NPCs from earlier versions of the game such as Fragments that got corrupted over time. THEY ARE not actual people. They usually hang around in net-slum[/spoiler]

Corrupted NPCs would be deleted pretty fast hanging around in the Root Towns.

Yup,thats correct.There is a reason why those NPCs are in the Net Slums,that is a place where corrupted or old data is stored,one way or another,they do get out,but of course the company itself will find them sooner or later.And when a player reports on the BBS,they eliminate it right on the spot.Thats why it is very rare,to see a corrupted data in a Root Town.

Also, the people in Carmina Gadelica only say one thing (over and over if you keep pestering them) when you talk to them. Normally the other players in the towns have several different things to say. This is another reason I think they are "away"; that these are automatic responses.
