Guys, remember: Balmung will just be like Rachael, Orca, or Marlo - he's a Bladeuser. He doesn't get special powers or whatever. He, in summary, sucks, and constantly is getting killed and/or confused. However, he performs much better when Wiseman is the third party member. And of course this doesn't dent his hawtness at all... so he's constantly in my party and constantly getting killed. .__.;

I also heard that he sucks he gets stuck in places like in the feild he gets stuck in rocks~_~

If I remember correctly. Kite was playing once and he flew into the field and got stuck in a tree once. I'm still amused beyond belief by this thought. ^___^;;

Well, any character I have that won't attack before "Skills!" is issued is a character I don't really use. I usually use a BlackRose/Nuke combo, because they'll attack and BlackRose is my strongest party member.

yea but isnt that Balmung may be strong when not in our party but as soon as he enters he might be some what weak and you have to spend time lvling him up? then Balmung become the strongest character. I hate that
I used Mistral in all my battles she could take a hit not like Elk I tried to use him but he was a one hit K.O. AAGGGHHH my partys fallen apart without a wavemaster I relay on their magic so much and my magic too I even though I have WiseMan I prob will not use him that much....dang I have to think of who willl take Mistrals place.

I dunno bout Balmung, but Sora's attack is much stronger than Kite, Natsume, or Moonstone. its 99. So My guess is that Balmung is somewhat Stronger than Marlo or Rachel.

You got Mistral back in the middle of Volume 4.

Something I find funny is that. The legend of Balmung is where Odin sutck the Balmung Sword in a tree and said whoever pulled it out would be victorious. Doesent that mean the Balmung in the game is suposed to be a awesome fighter? hehe

Balmung got stuck in a tree when Kite (the mod) asked him to party with him one day. He flew in and got... stuck.

As a note, the Balmung shrine on the CC2 .hack page got updated.

I will admit this time, he looks VERY VERY COOL in his new CG.
