Age..really doesnt matter y'know,whether you are a fan of .hack or some other anime/game out there.I've known some people who are over 30 and still love video games to this day,I've even seen a couple with a baby in their stroller,buying mangas at a book store.We even got enough of those Star Wars fans out there -_-;
So why even bother asking such a thing anyways? It's pointless really..

EDIT:
ack!! I bet no one will take me seriously anymore... ;_;
oh well, I can't help it that almost every other 13 yr. old is one of those typical "l33t aolers" ... ><
Only in dreams; We see what it means
Reach out our hands; Hold on to hers
But when we wake; It's all been erased
And so it seems; Only in dreams
I bet no one can guess how old I am... unless you look through all of the lost babble board messages in the locked part of the forum... anyways.. age doesn't matter, because if people who make manga or anime are like 20-40, then why can't people who make it be our age (under 18 ) make manga? I'm just saying that cuz i wanna make my own manga, but i'm like... broke.. i just bought Cowboy Bebop: Shooting Star.. its cool.
There's nothing saying you can't make manga at any age..
However, in Japan, most manga-ka are in their mid 20s when they have their first released story in a manga bi-monthly or something like that. Most of them have probably been -drawing- manga, or at least doujinshi, since as soon as they could publish it themselves. They may have been entering contests for years upon years before they found themselves published in a magazine and then employed by them.
By that time, however, they usually have a LOT of experience under their belt, and can continue to work hard, now being salaried for what they've been doing for years.
