At their .hack panel at Anime Expo, Bandai confirmed that they had licensed .hack//DUSK (which is a working title).
So, um, yes.
Boy, an entire panel for .hack? Wish I could've gone..
AX2003: .hack//DUSK anime licensed
That means... every piece of .hack entertainment has been licensed.. except for the books (of course, correct me if I'm wrong).

Actually, the first issue of the manga is going to be released in September. The 9th to be exact, according to the Tokyopop website. I'm really glad to hear that the anime has been licensed. I've been wanting to check it out, since I've heard such great things about it, and I was starting to get a little worried that it wouldn't get a US release.

as a random note about the novels. Bandai said that they aren't releasing them in the US because that's not their business. If someone wants to translate them into the US, though, they will allow the liscensing to happen. ^^
