I got the advertisement scanned,and its pretty cool.

Kinda weird with what they put in E3 section about .hack//Outbreak:

"The .hack saga continues,as you play the game inside the game.There's a powerful new friend named Terajima Ryoko,a number of formidable new enemies (who happen to be aliens),and more grunties,locations,and equipment than ever before"

Since when have their been aliens in the .hack games? Lol x.x; Unless they mean the phases...in which they are odd-looking.

Yeah Balmung does look pretty cool in that pic. As always. Now if they can only get the image up on the CC site.

Also note.. they said Ryoko is.. powerful. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I heard she was very very weak when you first get her.

Also.. isn't her last name Terashima and not Terajima? I think I read Terashima on CC2's .hack site. I dont really see the link between Terashima and Terajima (Piroshi and Piros make sense, though).

Yeah Jerec,Ryoko is a newbie when you first meet her and,about her name.If you go to the American dothack.com website,you will notice they changed her name in the character profiles.I spotted the difference between the official japanese one and the american one :/ I'm wondering on why they did that though..hm...

Probably for the same reason they did with Piros for Piroshi.

Ryoko is no different from Piroshi stat and atk wise - the physical differences are that she's blonde, angel winged, and... oh yeah, comes on level 1.

If you really want Heavy Axe power, just use Piroshi.

I thought they changed the name because the american can't spell "shi" right. PiroSHI TeraSHIma. Correct me if I'm wrong ^^;

There's a logical explanation to Piros' name adjustment. The Japanese, although they seem perfectly capable of pronouncing an s sound, make western s's sound like a sh sound. Then you have that odd element where almost all Japanese words must have a vowel ending. So Piroshi = Piros = Piroshi.

Terashima => Terajima makes no sense, though. Japanese can do a j sound and have no trouble with it or make an 'American' j sound.

That ad looks really cool, but I'm also assuming that they will just use the same cover as they used for the Japanese version. However, I'm just really hoping that they also offer the box to put all of the games in when you pre-order Quarantine like they did in Japan.

nope, the box comes with one of the .hack//sign dvd's.

Well, you're right and wrong. Yes, you could get a box when buying the first .hack//SIGN DVD, but that's not the box I'm referring to. There is a box that was given out in Japan if you pre-ordered .hack//Quarantine, which held the four games. I found a website that actually has a picture of it.

Unfortunately, the site isn't set-up so that I can give a direct link to the picture. It's easy to find, though. Just click on the Games link on the left of the screen, let the pictures load, and then scroll to the very bottom.
