... uh... yeah...some random newtype-usa article that told of stupid anime... wrote: Someone somewhere must have thought it was a sweet idea to give the crime-fighting heroine of super milk-chan a snot-encrusted talking nostril hair for a companion. When looking for an undercover occupation for the mean assassins of weiss kreuz, somebody thought it would be a smart idea to make them all florists. One of my personal favorites is fly pegasus, the tale of a blind football that wins the championship by playing with a ball that emits noise. But not even its bumping, tripping soccer-players seriously compete in the what-were-they-thinking stakes of variable geo (martial arts combat between rival waitresses); the crime-fighting train hikarian (think thomas the tank engine meets transformers.)
anyways, I think that .hack's popularity may have slightly decreased since its release, but that it is still one of the most popular anime over there... considering that it seems to grace the covers of newtypes (japanese and us alike) quite often.... In addition, it's quite likely that .hack is still popular... after all, there wouldn't be a reason to produce things like .hack//mobile and to keep on expanding the .hack universe if it wasn't popular... then again... that article goes to show that you can't always trust the people of japan to make the smart move...

Only in dreams; We see what it means
Reach out our hands; Hold on to hers
But when we wake; It's all been erased
And so it seems; Only in dreams

The series of anime, usually remains popular as it is played on TV; but in most stores, you should find merchandise like figures, manga, & posters, more than likely. Although, when my friend went, she had trouble finding DiGiCharat stuff. You may need to try a Toys R Us out there, on your search. (Yes, they do exsist out there)
Bring me back some pocky.
Oh, & it's more an oldman stereotype; but I don't think they'll arrest you if you beat the geezer to death.... just make sure he's not the one giving you a job interveiw at a school...... silly Onizuka.
