Seeing as how different the manga and the anime are, and from what I've heard of it, I think it's safe to hazard a guess that the manga is better than the anime.

I'm still crossing my fingers and hoping that Moruti appears in the manga, though.

Just as long as hacker kids don't appear. They're what truely dragged down the the .hack//Dusk anime.
