What happened to Helba in DUSK?

Where is your proof of the other episodes. If there were anymore made they'd be more of a 2nd season, & I beleive they would had been fansubbed by someone by now. Plus, Japan doesn't keep anime episodes "secret". You bad person, you.

..... I have to agree wholeheartedly with Rhyste here.

WTF?!

First of all, Udeden is a 12 episode series. I will be confirming in a few days if there is or is not a 13th episode, like there were extra unaired episodes of .hack//SIGN.

Secondly, it is ONLY 12 or 13 episodes long, not 27. Not even -close- to 27. If it were being aired in Japan, it would be online, and it would also be on a TV broadcast schedule in Japan.

Which it isn't, I assure you.

This has been confirmed by Bandai USA, as well, and I would go even FURTHER in proving you wrong, but at the moment, I'm not at liberty, due to legal issues, to do so u_U;;;

Anyway, I think you've proven yourself to be completely wrong, and spreading rumors like that is not appreciated.

Next time, remember that some of us -can- speak Japanese and do keep on top of these kinds of things in Japan, so be a bit more creative and make up a more believable one next time, okay?

Oh, yeah, and Helba is in every episode of .hack//Udeden.

dont believe me if you want..... but ill go lookin for that site so i can post it (i thought it was in my fav's but obviously its not *sigh*) well as far as there being 27 episodes there are....... ya know .Hack//Dusk isnt the only anime series to have done it.... so i dont know why ur so unwillinng to trust me.... o well (just trying to help)

You can trust me on this (if you like to trust me, that is).

But I'll say, at least, that production has already begun on the US release of .hack//Udeden, and there are most definitely not 27 episodes in it u_u;

Now, I'll try to impress upon you the fact that we have -asked-, on these boards, that you quote your sources when presenting, especially something as far-fetched as there being a 'secret continuation of a series in Japan', especially when no official evidence points towards such.

It's not even listed as airing in Japan, in Japanese magazines or on Japanese websites.

The idea of it being 'secret' is silly, as you -advertise- a series you want people watching. There would be an article in Newtype, it would be all over the .hack official websites, so people would -watch-, and thus earn the company money.

Your rumor is unfounded. I suggest you stop circulating it.

BTW; Kite, the mod here, has liek, l337 hook ups with Bandai. I think we'd know by now if UdeDen suddenly had 27 episodes. :roll:

You don't really HAVE to know people at Bandai to know that .hack//Udeden isn't airing new episodes in Japan. Just check any japanese New Type magazines for .hack//Udeden airings... I havn't seen any listed in the June or July listings.

It could be the tons of numbers after his name, or the fact that he used no grammar, or maybe because that seems a bit unreal what he's propsing, btw, how many times does helba show up in .hack//sign, 2 times?

Anyway, I get the impression that Helba pulls a similar role to Balmung. Except that she actually influences the plot, while Balmung is just eye candy. However, she doesn't really appear all that often, rather, you'll just see her influences...

It would be nice if she played a role in UdeDen period, though. c.c;; To my knowledge, Helba isn't in it at all, unless you count the opening.

But isn't the UdeDen anime widely considered to non-canon, so the fact that Helba has no role in it doesn't really matter?

Then again, does she have a role in the UdeDen manga, or does she become pretty much obsolete after the games?

There is a scene with her in the manga, so she will apparently play a role somewhere.
