ok, i know this is a //sign episode, but the whole thread would just be one giant spoiler tag. Anyway, this is about what we know about episode 28 of .hack//sign, 'Unison'. 1. In Japan it's being released in the box-set .hack//integration. 2. It is where the game characters meet the //sign characters. 3. It is done //sign style. Trailer run through: We first see the charcters faces, and their names. We see Elk, then tsukasa, then blackrose, then Mimiru, BT, Bear, and Suburu. Then Tsukasa smiles. We then see someone turning on their computer, and the Altimit desktop appears. There is a quick glance at a cell phone. (Note: Hanging on the right side of it is a Maha keychain) Then we see the person put on the VR goggles while the song Obsession plays in the background. Next Mistral appears looking around in a field. Sora appears behind her and puts her in a BT-like hold. Now we see a shadow of a longarm on a cliff. The moon goes behind the shadow, and it is Krim. Sora says something, and Krim points his staff-thingie at him. Then we see balmung in another field running towards a monster. Orca then does this weird two-slash thing. The slash fills the screen and we see a blade of Aromatic grass slowly falling through a black background to the ground, but this one has a 'tip' to it (It is fuzzy at the top) Tsukasa then appears with another blade of aromatic grass, but it dosen't have a fuzzy-tip. We then see an eye open, and then narrow like a cat's eye. The top half of the eye is surronded by purple fur. The bottom part is surrounded by white fur. The eye is yellow. Obviously this is Mia we are looking at. Next we see Kite using Data Drain on the enemy Balmung and Orca were fighting. we see Balmung and orca together for a moment, then Balmung looks at kite and winks. Now we see Cyber-slum, with Tsukasa, Mimiru, BT, and Bear there. A column of light appears, and Helba floats down. She says something, and Sora looks stunned. We then see Tsukasa playfully hiding behind a pillar. Sora then jumps wayyyyyyyyyy up into the sky. We then see that Ginkan and Mistral have also arrived at Cyber-slum. Krim appears from the air and lands. Lastly we see another re-modled Aura floating in the middle of one of the two moons of the world. This Aura is awake, and looks like a game Aura and dusk Aura combined.

It's on the //Integration site. Just click on the GIF that has rotating pictures of the characters and has "PV (Japanese here)" under it.

I can't wait...... I will finally get to see Balmung in action for more then a minute. :/
And is anyone planning on making Screen Cap's for this? If so, can I get one of Balmung. Where he looks at kite and winks.
And Bandai, needs to make that keychain of Maha. ^^;

Even though it's cool that there's going to be a new episode of .hack//SIGN, it kind of stupid too, because it totally ruins the ending of the anime. O_o

Not really.

It seems that these episodes have been planned ever since the beginning of the series.

Keep in mind, the end of the anime -was- the end for that particular segment of the entire .hack storyline.

I don't remember if Reki said so or not, but Episode 28 takes place after the games, which is a good 6 months or more after the end of episode 26. Episode 27 has no real relevant placement, it could be during or after the anime, it doesn't really matter.

Trust me, it doesn't change the end of .hack//SIGN, it simply adds a conclusion for the games, and for the characters in both that, and .hack//SIGN.

After all, you must admit. The end of .hack//SIGN was only the beginning for most of the .hack series (including .hack//ZERO, the .hack games, Liminality, and then Udeden). .hack//SIGN was just the beginning, and then end of -that- was hardly an end at all ^^

.hack//sign 26 was the end in the sense that Tsukasa logged out and found Subaru; but that's only the human-interest side. It wasn't the end in the fact that Aura had only just awakened. So, the touch was ironic, the two human beings go to touch each other, yet, before they actually can, the screen suddely turns into the digi-honeycomb-looking thingies that're all over The World.
