On the other hand, she might consider naming the child "Kite" or "Elk" or something. Or Balmung. Has she met Balmung? Eh, whatever.

Well I think Kite's real name is Kite, of course this is all theoretical. SInce Kite is new to the MMORPG it might be he just named his character after himself in the real world. When Kite first logs in He calls Orca, Yasuhiko, his friend's name in real life, Orca replies and says "Don't call me that, in "The World" I am Orca. This could tell or give us a hint that Kite's real name might be Kite itself, but it's just my opinion.

Basically, unless your a girl, his real name is YOUR real name. I'm merely pointing out that people usually don't give out their real names online.
