Summary of Episode 23: The Eve

Oh, I use a combination of methods. I've got my own ritual, actually. <g>

Step 1, watch the fansub a day or so before.

Step 2, watch the episode (If I can) or else have it taped.

Step 3, while watching the episode, I write notes on a note pad of what's going on. Questions, observations, etc. .hack's format usually means that someone is talking to someone else. <g> So I take note who's in what conversation.

Step 4, start typing. Rewatch fansubs (which I have at my computer) and/or tape if anything comes out wrong, or I can't read my own writing. <g>

Edit: wow I really like this, I would have never thought you would have to go through alot of work to do all this, it's pretty awsome that you do this for we, the people at the forum, and I thank you for that

Andy, have you considered making a list of changes in addition to summaries? There aren't many important ones on something like dot hack, but I think it would be interesting to see what was altered.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it, "Thousand and One Nights". I might have been calling it the wrong thing the whole time >.<

Japanese is a fairly flexible language, besides the verbs and particles. It could be termed several things. The title I have for the song is Thousand Night, One Night, but Thousand and One Nights would be a close translation as well, I suppose. I don't know the Japanese title, so I don't know whether 'and' would be there.

In the official translation on the Liminality 2 DVD its called ''Thousand and One Nights." Even the lyrics are translated as as "Don't give up a thousand and one nights..." or something like that...I know thats not completely accurate but the point is that they've translated it as "Thousand and One Nights." BTW...its my favorite song ever.
