Dvd episodes

Post by SaintBeast »

Does anyone knows which episodes .hack//SIGN Ver. 04: Omnipotence will contain?

i think episodes 15,16,17 and 18.

So they can make DVD5 and DVD6 both have 4 episodes... What do you guys think?

ow and did you noticed that if you put all the dvd's together, from dvd1 till dvd6 (left to right) you can see the word:
'Logout'
sorry if you already knew it

It's likely that episode 15 'Evidence' will not be included on that DVD. If they are paralleling the Japanese DVD releases, Evidence will be included in the last DVD set, and they will go from 14 to 16.

Why sit through a recap episode on your DVD?

You misunderstood Sora. He means that DVD 4 Omnipotence will start on Episode 16 Depth.

SaintBeast, we know it spells LOGOUT with the first letters of each DVD, since there's a post about it, but I'm too lazy to post it up here.... =_=;;;;

I wanted to know, if the Japanese Version has English Caption

If you're determined on getting the Japanese DVDs, be prepared to pay a lot, as they're not cheap. n.n; Not only that, but you'd need to have a DVD player that can play the appropriate region.

If you don't have those, even if they did have English subtitles, they'd be moot point.

No, there's no English subs on the Japanese DVDs.

I recently saw that most of the Japanese Anime DVD's have english and chinese subtitles (i've bought some), the dvd's can be displayed on all Regions (not sure about Region1, but it works on Region2). And if you know the right place you can buy the dvd's really cheap, around $13. (if you buy a bigger number of DVD's at once the shipping cost will be lower)
I've seen a Japanese .Hack//SIGN edition (episode 1 - 26) for the price of $40, only it has no dubbed version, but i don't mind that. They also got other complete anime series for low prices.

I only wish i had seen it, before i began buying the Region1 version of .Hack//SIGN

Sorry to break it to you, but the cheap all-region DVDs with Chinese subtitles are very definitely illegal bootlegs. $40 each (with no English at all) is right for the authentic Japanese release.

Plus, the subs on the bootleg aren't that good-they even get the names wrong. I'd wait for the legit release with good subs myself. The legit DVDs are cheap (I've gotten 1&2 at half price) on eBay.

Toshiba something3900 can play multiple region DVDs... Dunno how good it is, but I'm planning on picking one up shortly...
As one the collective unifies
emanate a faithless shine
forever creation has conceived
birth of destruction spreads its wings
chaotic rebirth a new domain
relive the sight the sound the pain
erotic the taste of agony
adorn the scars in inhumanity

I hate the regional settings on DVDs... I mean seriously! What's the point? All they do is mean that I can't watch anything that I import!
