I very pestimistic about it. I doubt there will ever be any plans. Anime novels don't usually get translated. Well, at least to my knowlage.

Actually, I believe that all aspects of the .hack project are going to be released in America, even the novels, if only because they're mentioned on the demo CD that was released prior to the game, with the little movie about the .hack project n.n

Kite's friend would know for -sure-, but he might not be able to say, officially n.n;

Well, I don't think the novel was explicitly mentioned as something in depth. I believe they MENTIONED it... But not as something integral to the story (as in not something they'd definately bring over (such as Udeden)
