What does the sound do? (SEE OVA 2)[spoiler]When Yuki-chin is watching a movie that closely reslembles Aura and Skieth the movie fades out with "The World" showing on the screen[/spoiler]
Either its
A. When Kite Data Drains
B. When Aura is near

I dono its just a guess

wtf? What are you talking about? A sound, or a video? Or do you mean a sound that plays when the video gets all messed?

If I think your talking about what I think your talking about, then its the long a sound. A sound Mai first hears in Liminality 1.

Data Drained obviously has their OVAs mixed up,Yuki is seen in OVA 2 with the theatre bit NOT in OVA 3.She only goes to the movies ONCE not again in OVA 3.When the movie starts to flicker and goes away,the words "The World" appear on the screen.

If the sound you are talking about is the sound Mai heres like Dark Orb said then its the Ahh sound in some "major" or mabye he said C minor (oh well it has to do with orchastra and music scales) also i believe is the same sound Tsukasa, Bear, and Mimiru hear in the upside down dungeon when first seeing

Me too, he created it after he found what happens to Maha in Catastrophe, bah. I find it dumb to bounce from one name to another.

Data Drained got all pissy after learning about Mia/Maha & the data drainage incident, & changed his/her name, & continues complaining about it in a topic that should had been closed long before it actually was.

I think the weird little "ding" sound you hear occurs whenever an AI is around, it always seems to play whenever Harald, Aura, or any of the Phases appear, so I think it's a result of the presence of the AI messing with The World's audio system (in the same way their presence causes static in the graphics).

As an interesting bit of trivia regarding the A note, Ms. Kajiura was asked a question about it at Anime Expo. She explained that the A note was the pitch that would reach the farthest in a natural environment. This, of course, ties in with the theme of .hack, and this is why it tends to appear when something involving AI, Morganna, or phases occurs.
