I finnally beat mutation what did you think of the ending?

i was shocked, but i thought, awesome! Maybe I should beat another phase to make things worse and then i'll--roll credits--NO! DON'T YOU DARE END ON ME! --Player Name: Kite--NO DAMNIT!--Congrats! ... mm, the four volumes of the game describe the production of the virus.

"Infection" - first sign of the bugged monsters, Skeith, etc
"Mutation" - we see it mutate, and take form by eating away at the root town
"Pollution/Outbreak" - spreading of virus; i swear every other monster is data bug -_-
"Encirclement/Quarantine" - containment of virus

I finished that game in 2 days... at the end, I was all, "WTF??!!" o.o;

And as for //OUTBREAK... I hate you all! My PS2 broke! -.-

Rhyste wasn't that a known fact all along, but I think to clarify the fact that there is no excitment in //Infection and //Mutation is in the stage of the/a virus you have infection which ain't so exciting, mutation which is just boring to watch, //Outbreak is the high point when everything is bad, and //Quarantine is finishing it off and peace lala, happy bunnies, etc.

Just clarifying how it pertained to the story as it does a real virus etc.

And Quarantine is the friggin' antithesis of happy bunnies or whatever. Wait until you actually play it. T_T;;

Hmmm, I suppose Mia could be considered a Bunny in an odd sense, though she certainly wouldn'e be very happy during //QUARANTINE... :p

I hope the games get darker, the last two games have just seemed a bit too... nice for me, I want dark despair! I want one of the PCs to fall into a coma! I want to see Mistral go completely insane and eat everyone cause she think's they're chocolate Jelly Beans!

Ok, that last one was out there, but I think I made my point...

//INFECTION + //MUTATION= Happy La La Land
//OUTBREAK + //QUARANTINE= Evil Nasty Angst Land (Hopefully)

And speaking of Bunnies... Mia probably gets mistaken for one a lot, with those ears and al.l

I thought the ending to //Mutation was ok. I like the credits tho. Its fun trying to find the words among the jumbled nonsense.
