Statue of Aura

Ok I'm not sure if this has to do with part of the plot or something..or if it is just a mistake...but if you look on the floor you can see a reflection of the pedastool the statue is on but no reflection of the statue....so I wonder what the meaning of that is.

Well the statue hasn't always been there, it's not there during //SIGN, or //AI BUSTER, so perhaps it's there to show that the statue isn't actually a part of the field, it's something different.

I agree with CR maybe the staute of Aura is more than just a staute.Althought I just learned about the reflection also.The fact that you can't see her got me thinking maybe Arua is more than a ghost girl thing maybe she's a vampire;but maybe i'm just thinking weird;though.

Also notice that the statue starts out with 8 chains on it, each time a phase is destroyed a chain is removed.

So I'm not the only one that notice the 8 chains, 8th phases thing.

I thought I was just seeing things, and reading to much into it. ^^;;

I noticed the 8 chains...but mine don't go away after a phase is beat...so im not sure whats wrong with mine.....the chains definetly signify the 8 phases though...each phase is trying to hold aura in place and asleep.

The reflection is probably generated by building an upside-down copy of the room. That's the simplest way in 3D graphics, anyway. Maybe they just... forgot to build a copy of the statue?

I never noticed the chains gone..I think they were there last time I checked...
I think maybe the Statue was put there after the event with Sign,seeing as how everything was updated.I mean,back in the very beginning when that chruch was first put there,that statue was never there,and I doubt any of the programmers even put it there before the Sign event or after it,during the upgraded version of the World for the .hack games.

Meaning,it is like an error or as how CR points it out.If the statue has no reflection,its not part of the program..rather,whatever was encoded for the design of the chruch,does not have the statue being part of the church.

[spoiler]Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground was originally designed as a root town[/spoiler], I seriously doubt that the statue would've been present in CC corp's beta version of the game. Like someone said earlier...its not in //SIGN or //AI BUSTERS.

i think that the statue is not there because:

[spoiler]the satue is aruas actual body and when ever u beat a phase she loses a chain and becomes more awake[/spoiler]

about her reflection not being there:

[spoiler]maby she astro projects out of the statue to try to get you to help her so you cant see her[/spoiler]

The chains still are there for me as well. I put in my Outbreak disc, but is it on another disc that you see this happen? Or is it only the Japanese version that it does this?
