Why do you like the .hack series?

I would have to say that i like it mostly because of the interested plot and the music in the shows and movies is really nice... the whole concept of that game is very cool as well....the characters are all very cool as well...

So please tell me why you like .hack//

Well, that's ironic :p The ever-knowing-.hack-person who doesn't even like .hack ... XP;

But anyway. Why I like .hack... hmm... Well, it's something different from what I've ever seen. If anything, it's quite original. Original and spiffy. XD It's always hard for me to tell why I like something. ^_^;

I'm gonna have to go with Duskino's "original and spiffy" thing.
.hack is like nothing else both in conception and production. The idea is kickass, and it's got the requisite eyecandy too. It's deep, it's creative, it's ... cool ... (runs out of things to say).
You *really* don't like the series, Rhyste? o_o

Cool ideas, all the way. The gameplay certainly isn't thrilling. The anime offers plenty of drama, if you like that stuff.

wow. how could a person not like .hac and yet be in this place?anyways. i dont uderstand that, but ya.hack is good (the whole spiffy original thing) the music is good and its like somthing that the plot/characters are all new and never get boring.(and there are funny points but what anime dosnt have funny parts?

I like it because it's not like any other series i've ever seen in the past. Other shows are overflowing with action, which makes them in a way, boring. .hack has a good story line, great characters and, like cobweb said, the ideas are kickass. It's the most emotional series i've ever seen as well, ecsept Evangelion. In one episode i acually felt sorry for B.T. @_@

Another reason why i like it is because im into the whole Worldwide Online game. It's baffleing to think of playing with someone half a world away in real time.

hm...i like .hack because i love dramatic anime. Blue Gender happens to be a favorite of mine due to that one episode with Yune. Also Trigun, despite its sillyness, was very dramatic in some parts. Digimon, was ALWAYS dramatic, all of the kids were melodramatic. They're like 10 and Matt's like "That darkness, it's what i've been carrying around with me for ALL my life!" Tai: "Oh! We're never going to get out of here!" T.K: "I'm never going to find Patamon!" Izzy: "PROFU*KINGDIGIOUS!" Joe: "But i have to do what my dad tells me to do, it's not my choice!" Mimi: "LIEK! OMFG! MY HAT!" Sora: "My crest of love will never glow, because...i can't love!" Kari: "Piedmon you dumb fu*k! You killed Chumon!" (and whamon, and the numemon, and piximon..) In pokemon...eh...(music in the background starts: "If only tears could bring you back to me...") And lastly FLCL. I know it was ment to be basically just a giant parody, but it had its dramatic moments. Especially the last episode. Ninamori sees Naota sleeping with Haruko, Mamimi loses both her 'Takkuns', and in the end Mamimi and Haruko leave Naota. ::tear::

It sounded cool at first, but it sucks, horribly. It's like The Devil and I or whatever, and Valkyrie Profile - cool concept, bad game.

I can honestly say that I agree.. I didn't really like .hack//SIGN all that much.. I didn't even start liking .hack until DUSK came out.. O.o;; Cute things are good.. & I like the manga the best..

The reason why I like the whole series is because ever since I was eleven I've been in the online gaming world. When I first saw .hack//SIGN, I was amazed that someone finally decided to make a show about an MMORPG. The storyline I find is unique as well. The games suck, I must say, but other then that, everything else is a job well done on an awesome series.
