.hack//FLCL?

Post by thedudewhosadude »

Ok, you all know of my obsession with FLCL. As i'm watching it right now somethings pick up in my brain. I remeber a while ago watching a Tv commercial for .hack//infection. One popular quote that they used was, "Where does reality end and fantasy begin?" or vice versa. Anyway in episode two of FLCL, "Fista/Fire Starter," Naota says at the end, "I'm not sure anymore where reality ends and the lies begin..." Somewhat like the .hack quote. Also, the satelite that was going to hit Mabase looked alot like Magus. And who could forget Aramo with...those eyebrows! His .hack parallel is obviously Mai Minase, with those HUGE eyebrows of hers. Another thing, the main character has their head used for things. Tsukasa's for keeping Aura asleep, and Naota's for bring Atomisk to Raharu. Yet another note, both Tsukasa and Naota have one parent, who dosen't care that much about them. (For FLCL, watch episode 6, FLCLimax/Furi Kura)

i bought both...hehehehehe. The FLCL manga is great. Oh yeah, another slight connection. In episode 3 (Marquis de Carabas/Maru Raba) watch closely when the robot 'opens up' The pink pattern on its inside reminds me of a form of a
small cat that then got data drained, became another cat, although now cabebale of speech and changed its gender to female, which then became the phase Macha. From the pictures i've seen of Macha, it's looks like Cream from Sonic Advance 2 stuck in a giant flower. (Awesome l337 comparing skillz....)
uh....cream the rabbit painted purple...i think...anyway, yet another link! This one's actually stupid, but anyway: In the FLCL 'theme' Ride On Shooting Star' the guitar plays a part eight times in the beginning. There are eight phases. Relationship? Or am i just being stupid now? (Go with the second one!)

Y'know, Kanti looks like Skeith if you cross your eyes ... I think we have hit upon a vast anime conspiracy!

Another connection made! Although this one isn't from FLCL. In the game
once you defeat Macha, Mia falls into your arms. Elk tries to heal her, but her data seems to drift away in little specks. See http://home.insightbb.com/~uten/MiaMaha.html
This happens alot in digmon whenever a digi mon dies. CONSPIRACY!

Poor Mia, being compared to Digimon like that. Poor everyone who worked on .hack.

Well, let's get the facts right.

Digimon = One of Bandai's money-sucking merchandising schemes.

.hack = One of Bandai's money-sucking merchandising schemes.

That's enough similarities for me. :D

I wouldn't doubt that case look at all the stuff FLCL has in from Hamtaro mentioning to Lupin the 3rd. They tried to add in a little bit of dot hack to!
I wouldn't put it past them but I never would of thought of that! :D

the number 8 is used a lot in anime. This is due to the fact that the Japanese symble for 8 is Balenced (peace). Its supposed to show symetrics.
