"MAHO" and "Burigitto"

I was wondering if anyone knows about these characters... According to one Japanese site, "Burigitto" (in Katakana) was Rena's 1st PC and MAHO (in Uppercase Roomaji) was some reclusive chick she met or something. Apparently this was all explained in a manga or something that comes with the Rena Specialpack. Anyone know about it?

At the very least, people should stop using the name MAHO for Maha as it now refers to an entirely different character.. ^^;

Interesting. Burigitto might be a mispronunciation of "Bridget."

Well now..that's very new to me o.o;
Maho belongs to another person,besides the cat player.
Very interesting.Of course,not many people know of this..so when you mention Maho,they will automatically think you are referring to that cat player.

Yeah... except that the cat player wasn't actually named Maho. Anywho, in all caps it should be fairly obvious...

"Maho" is simply just a mistranslation. People should know that it's Maha or Macha, not Maho ^^;

Cool, one more thing to confuse the masses :D

It would be cool if Burigitto actually was to show up in Unison or some area in the game or something...

Yup,that's all it is really.I mean,by now for those who have paid attention to the show..meaning Dub wise in CN.They really shouldnt have a probelm,either way,a mistranslation never hurt at all.

Does "first PC" imply that she no longer has that PC? Can people have more than one avatar in the World? I'd imagine that would be useful for famous players like Subaru and Balmung, who might want to escape for a while ... but others could have one avatar for PKing and one for legitimate play. There would be a lot of issues involved.

The site I'm reading says roughly what equated to "After she became Rena in The World she stopped using this character entirely." Not sure if she can keep it or what...

But, seeing as people CAN use "other" people's accounts, and hackers like Helba exist, there can definitely be people with multiple accounts ^^;

And yeah... anyone who just watches the DVD or show either subbed or dubbed should know it's "Macha" by now... Except the wave in the Japanese version is "Maha" ^^;;;;

There is also apparently a character named "Rumor" (spelled this way in Roomaji) in the same source... He's a Wavemaster who's been playing The World heavily since it officially began (or maybe even before) and told Burigitto about .hackers.

Oh, and btw, Burigitto is a female Blade User and MAHO is a female Wavemaster. ^^
