The Relation of Emma, Morgana, and Aura
Who is Emma, Morgana, and Aura? I have seen .hack//SIGN and am in the middle of playing .hack//INFECTION and saw the first OVA .hack//LIMITALITY I think I know who Aura is (i.e. the floating girl in white) but I dont make the conection with the other two? Can some one fill me in?
If you've watched all of .hack//SIGN, you'd understand that Morgana's relation to Aura was that she didn't want her to wake up/be born. She was quite a central force in that aspect.
Though we don't know -exactly- what happens to her after the anime, she does show up in the games again (according to Kite), though I don't know how big a role she has.
The relation to Emma is speculation only. Some believe that she is Morgana (like I do), some think she is Aura, some believe she's neither.
As an interesting side note, If we recall that the story if 'The World' is based on a story about Magic, Technology, the Fey, and humans (or something like that, I'm too tired to remember), I think it's a somewhat interesting parallel, or perhaps only small reference that Morgana is named such.
After all, who could forget Morgana le Fey of Arthurian legend? o.- The queen of the Fey, not always thought of as on the 'good' side of our morals. Powerful, controlling, often manipulative....

Morgana is like an over-protective mother figure to Aura, who has both life and death properties because that's how Harold Hyuek invisioned a mother. Somewhat, Morgana's like, sheltering her by making her sleep, and then when little girl awakes and runs off, she like, whips out the eight phases (let's say they're like bounty hunters ;D) to go and get her... or maybe she sent out the eight phases in a more knight-ly form to protect her...
As for Emma, most people lean towards the fact that she's Morgana, while I think the Emma = Aura is more symbolic, because Harold says soemthing alone of the lines of, "Dude, without you Emma, we couldn't've made her," but exactly who did Emma make, and in what SENSE did she help him make "her?"
As for the Emma = Aura. Let's say that when Tsukasa awakes Aura, she is "born," but she technically already has a body, so it's like a rebirth... and Emma's dead... so... yeah... ~_~

It was game 2 or game 3, Kite said that she saved the .hackers from being deleted by Ryoth, IIRC.
Or my mind has screwed me over again and fabricated entire conversations, which has happened before, I think.
