Is there a .hack//sign ost 3 soundtrack? A friend of mine says he saw one on the internet a couple of days ago.

For .hack//SIGN, there's OST1, 2, and the Extra soundtrack. ^-^

bwee... //EXTRA SOUNDTRACK actually has a few non-//SIGN things in it (edge instrumental and I think The World extra version is also from //LIMINALITY (it sounds like part of the song is from the songs Liminality 1 through full) but I guess you could consider it... ah well...

There's no Edge instrumental, it's actually called 'A Bit of Happiness'. (Yeah, two different songs called that...)

... o_O Yeah there is... it says it right on the back cover. "Edge (Instrumental)".

"The World" Extra Ver. was in Liminality?? I don't remember it being in Liminality at all... it's just a remix of "The World".

I think "Edge" is the only non-SIGN-ish thing on the SIGN OSTs.

I think maybe a very small part of 'The World' Extra ver. was in the first episode of Liminality. *shrug* [spoiler]The part where Tokuoka tells Mai there are six people in Japan that are in comas...[/spoiler]

Well, I am listening to it right now... near the end of (or somewhere in there) "the world (extra ver.)" you can hear the voices from the full version of the song liminality singing their part--
"Dreaming in the land of twilight
We are in the land of twilight"

and also, while on the subject... obsession is also in the first //LIMINALITY OVA... When Tokuoka and Mai are putting on the headgear...

also, during //SIGN, in episode 22, The Eve, A Thousand and One Nights starts playing when Bear says, "The helba gate won't be open for long" and plays until the end of the episode.

Yeah, I know that (I've only heard the song about a million times :P), but that doesn't necessarily mean that it's a Liminality song.

They use "A Thousand Night One Night" in SIGN, but it's still a Liminality song, and not considered a SIGN song.
