The Phases and Data Drain

Mia doesn't transform...(well.. unless Morganna commands her to be)

Maha got DD'ed by Morganna(or so I heard) And she turned into Mia(which at this point I'm putting aromatic jokes here) and then Kite DD'ed her while she was Macha, and well.. she became the cat again, and then she was defeated by Kite again, in her bracelet form, and transformed again, to Mia... which at this point she loses pretty much all of her memories, of what happened.

But the question is, where did the Mia data come from? In order for her to have been datadrained into it the Mia Player Character must have already been part of her. It may have just been part of her role as the Temptress (which by nature would require a much closer interaction with the players of The World) but what if the other phases also possessed character forms?

CRtwenty, I hate you when you ask that question... however it is a good question.. and I've got no idea...

Ah! Player data being illegally exchange... Remember in liminality, that there were changes in the Player's data? (Can't really support... But anways..) I think that was the cause of transformation... I think her program was being exchanged.. or do I have no idea what I'm talking about...

You're talking about the scene on the boat in which Sato talks about Harald's plan to create Aura, right? He said that the data being exchanged was the persona data of the players. It was the raw material out of which Aura would be grown. I don't think any of that would go to Macha, and if it did, why would it give her a PC form? If the persona data did anything to a Phase, wouldn't it make the Phase more human-like?

Well.. she technically was designed to try to act like a human(I keep forgetting the text in Liminality.. go away)

Whole reason behind the fact that she's a Tempress..(go me for spelling it wrong)

And also, she's hot...(I just had to put that in)

This is a theory, but, I think DDing doesn't make her disappear, like the rest of the Phases cause most of them were designed on certain emotions of the human mind.. rather, changing her into something... like let's say an apple... if it's eaten whole.. it's gone.. but yet, the seed, comes out and turns itself into an apple(so sue me for my crappy biology) tree.

I think that's where they were going... and my hands are killing me.

So you're saying that Mia is basically immortal?

Anyway, the point about her being the exception is very valid, and I have to agree with it. But still, the idea of seeing the Phases in Player form is very cool... if I could draw I'd do a fan art of it... but since I can't, I'm forced to beg...
