I used those cheats and nothing happend to me. By the way in the earlier ones I used quick level up, at times when I didn't even have the characters in my party they leveled up. This even happened to me in Quarantin with Tsukasa and the other new guys but I didn't even use quick level up cheats. Why'd this happen?

i know i never cheat in any game its messed up. if your to stupid to not be able to beat a game without cheating your pretty lame

Besides, the .hack games are easy enough to beat without cheats. A few levels can get frustrating, sure, but they wouldn't be any fun if there was no challenge.

i know they are cake i mean well there is a little challenge on some parts of the game but not a extreme amount were i would need to use pussy cheats to beat it!

Actually, I don't cheat period.. unless I get desperate..like that cursed item Quest, errr..

Heh, I don't even cheat in those situations. I believe those sorts of things are there to test what you can do. You can't be perfect in everything, so of course, not every darn thing is going to be accomplished. I don't need an absolutely perfect game to be happy.

Besides, I'd rather be able to brag about what I've really done and took all the time to do. :D

oh yes! I abosolutly despise one of my friends for his cheating habit. He won't buy a game unless it has a 'Infinite Health, Ammo, and Level Skip' cheat. He's like, "I beat BTA:VC in two hours!" I'm just like "<.< >.> Now try beating it without cheats [/dripping hostility] And as for the characters leveling up, it's just another aspect they put in the game to make it seem more realistic. That's to say that even while you're offline or somewhere else, they're playing and leveling up.

There are no games I have used cheats to beat accept one. And when I used the cheats I still couldn't beeat it but that was when I was like 5. But .hck with cheats would be no fun at ALL

That's what I thought in the first place, considering I didn't really use cheats in Quarantine. I generally like to try to go through a game without cheating. The only times I use thm are when I'm in a tough spot or I get tired of taking so much time so I speed things up a bit. BTW even with lvl 99 I still couldn't beat a lot of monsters that quickly, especially bosses. It mainly depends on the weapon level and atk level. Now that I beat it I don't care anymore, I'm gonna cheat cuz I want those special items, plus I can't Data Drain snake monsters, so my Monster list will be incomplete, if I want all the movies, I MUST CHEAT!

Eheh... if you need to cheat to get stuff in .hack ... sorry, but that's kinda sad. .hack is easy enough to do without cheating. It's like cheating in PokÃ©mon, which is sad enough in itself.

BTW, the way you attack a monster depends on if it'll Protect Break or not. So try different ways to whack at it.

Cheat free is the way to be~

I used cheats, I still though it was fun. The reason I did was I played through the beginning with BlackRose when it came out. Fastforward to September I get Outbreak and wanted to get through it all quickly. Also a friend dared me to beat Devil May Cry w/o cheats, I got bored around my 14th birthday and stopped playing it. Then I got Kingdom Hearts, I did not cheat until the end. I wanted to beat Sephiroth so bad I maxed out everyone's HP and MP. Then when I went to fight him my health went down to the level of the gummy ship. Needless to say I didn't beat him, at one point I did get far though. Then I had to beat the final boss with hardly any health everytime a new stage started. That sucked.

I never cheated in any of my games...

Especially in .hack://Quarantine or Kingdom Hearts.

Both of these games are way too easy! Except for that cursed Item Quest Completion, but Sephiroth.. I owned him after the 15th time trying to beat him... and I succeeded.
