actually, the reason is beacuse Bandai is re-UPC-ing all their DVD's, and aren't selling anything else until March, or something like that. it's on their site. Anyway, more news! According to Amazon, .hack//SIGN vol. 6 will be much cheaper! (also mentioned on the Bandai site) The standard edition goes for around $20.00, and the limited goes for about $24.00.

Well, Amazom.com generally is cheaper than the retail price.

Bah. The only thing you can buy where I live* are the LE's, and you don't have to order them - it's just hard as hell to find them anywhere! D:

Just let me revive this topic, since the DVD came out.
Has anyone gotten it yet...? Was it really released today...?
Best Buy (where I got the other episodes) doesn't have it listed on their website. Am I going to have to use the (oooooohhhhnoooo) PHONE...?!

The release date has gone through changes. It was originally March 2nd (this Tuesday). It was then delayed till March 16th. Apparently a select number of stores either never got this message or dissregarded it and released it on the original date.

That just makes you feel special, i don't think you can get an 'un-platinum edition'. I think it's used on titles they think will do well. I just bought it from them, and they say that it will ship sometime in the last week of March....
