Is it just me, or have changes been made?

::Takes a deep breath.:: After shedding some tears while watching the last ep. of .hack//SIGN again last night, I noticed that tons of things have changed from the show to the game. First, I think the show was made first, but if I'm wrong please correct me. Now, the most obvious change from the show to the game is most definetly Aura. What caused her appearance to change? Her hair is different, her eyes are different, her outfit is different.. but why? I know that Yoshiyuki Sadamoto designed the characters for both the show and the game, so why does Aura look different? Another thing: the chaos gates are different. In the show they are just a pool of blue within a simple golden ring. However in the game, they are a pool of blue within a golden ring with a pointy thing on the top. Maybe this isn't so important, but I do care! Don't grunties have ears in the show? Why not in the game? And Skeith is different, too. In the show he is a white beast with three Yin-Yangs (I think that's what they were) down the front of his chest, holding some sort of red Q staff. But in the game, he is a grey textured thing with no Yin-Yangs down his chest and he holds a kind of non-intersecting red cross wand. This is strange to me. Finally, in episode 23 of .hack//SIGN the characters go to "Screaming Windsands The Castle of Fate." In the game you go to "Screaming Windsands Fate Castle." This bugs me too!!! Yes. I am a meticulous person. When it comes to .hack, that is. (I hate cleaning!)

I understand that the Chaos Gates, Magic Portals, Grunties, etc...all NPCs in the game might have changed because all the versions constantly upgrade, but what about Aura and Skeith? PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN.

Actually, Skeith have yin-yang in the games...
yaes he does...

but about the wand,
In English games, the wand is Q
but in Japan it is Cross.

They simply change the wand to Q, so evangelis, etc would not... blah you understand me....

Aura in SIGN is still a kid, may be in ZERO she took complete an become adults, helped by the purple woman, and used item.
Remeber, Lycoris need all item in forms .cyl to become perfect.

Nuh-uh...I mean Skeith has three yin-yangs down the skinny part of his front in SIGN but not in the games. And it was still a cross in the show. I've never played the Japanese version of the game (only American with Japanese voiceovers) Nor have I read the novels.

The yin-yangs are indeed there, they're inside of what looks like an eye: http://www.geocities.com/magicyellowsnowcone/skeith.jpg On the last episode, Skeith has a Q, not a cross.

BLARHG hold on I meant to say that it was still a cross in the game. At least it was when Orca got DDed. Sorry for the confusion. Now, off the subject of Skeith, if you know there are other things that I must find out!

Skeith originally used a Cross, but it was altered to a Q in order to avoid the religious reference...

Eh? How did that happen, and what's the point of Aura becoming an adult in ZERO, then becoming a child again in the games. Since ZERO takes place only a few months after SIGN, while the games take place about 6 Months I believe after it. So, it'll be useless to do that. I might be misunderstanding it though, so can you restate it, if I got it wrong?

I mean.
Look the difference between Aura in SIGN and the Games.
She didn't turn into a child again in the games.

Tsukasa says : beside, this child is still... (probably he said that because he knows that Aura is still incomplete --- this is what I mean for Aura being a Child)
