In volme two, Rena says, [spoiler]"remember that kid we used to hang out with?, his name was Kazu, right?" isn't that Blackrose's brother, and does that mean Shugo and Rena hung out with Kazu and Blackrose? [/spoiler]

No, they didn't realize that BlackRose was one of the .hackers... though they did know about Kazu falling into a coma.
