There's a purple barbell monster at the end of the bonus dungeon in QUARANTINE, and its name is Dawn Wanderer. The normal, gold-colored barbells are just called Guardians.

yeah, deimos pretty much cleared everything up, but still... Which side of the barbel is the head? When Tsukasa was playing fetch with his guardian, it carried the stick with one of the balls. Not only that, whenever Tsukasa talked to it, one of the barbels was pointed towards him. Is it impossible to tell?

Ummm... the one that's pointed in the direction that it's moving? I don't know if we can even say that it has a definite head. If anything, I think the part in the middle that has the bracelet inside would be the "head."

Honestly, I never really noticed. ^_^; Most of the time it's floating some distance away from Tsukasa, and he just talked in its general direction, I guess.

Also, when the Guardians chase people, the bracelets in the center ball turn and follow that person's movements.
