okey dokey. Now another question  . What if somebody is watching someone play? When the person playing is about to be DD, couldn't the person watching reset the terminal?

in a way it is ALMOST what mai did for Mr.Tokuoka (of course scenario is changed a little bit) but if u watched it, you know depending on the person it might not help a whole lot to just reset the terminal

Well, if it's a combination of lights and sounds, that would only work if they were playing with a monitor. If you watch, they typically use the VR visors. Of course, after a certain point, ripping them off doesn't help, but still...

no, people still use monitors. Haven't you noticed that whenever someone falls into a coma, we see them drop down in front of their computer. Their moniter is on.

Yeah, but I never see the display of a field on that monitor. It just looks on, but blank, like they turned on the screen saver. ;)

Exactly. The screen saver is probably on and they're looking into the vr goggles. As for the Mai and Mr. Tokuoka incident, Mai was probably watching the moniter.

No, she had the goggles on too, until she ripped them off after hearing the tone. Then she ripped off his, but nothing changed. So she smashed the monitor, no change. Smash the computer itself, sound dies, he wakes up.

i think the goggles just add to the game, you experience it as the character itself (like in the game pressing R2) and just by watching the monitor u get to look at the field like playing a "regular" video game

she might have to pay for it IF some one knows she did it. By the sounds of things Mr.Tokuoka, Mai, and that other guy were the only people that knew who did what that night...

Well, 1) it was boarded up.

2) She completely trashed the entire thing. It's less of, "Hey, it's not working" and more of "Hey, the computer is in millions of pieces on the floor."
