Grunties!!!

Post by Ruby Red Rose »

First, am I the only one who thinks that "grunties" in .hack//INFECTION are scary? The puchiguso (I think that's what you call them in the anime, right Asmaria?) were cute, but... In the game? Scary.

Second, what varieties have your "bred"? And what'd you feed them to get them?

So far I've made an Iron Grunty, a Noble Grunty, and a Frog. 8)

I don't necessarily find them scary, just plain ugly. I've never liked them in the anime either. Wonder if it's possible to overfeed them.... will they explode...? *smirk*

Argh! @_@ They're not scary! (ok, well in the game they -are- but the voices make up for it! XD) They're cute! I think the ones in .hack//SIGN are adorable. The ones in Udeden are closer to those from the game though, and at first I thought they were weird looking, but the little one Hotaru carries made me change my mind. Its like a pug, so ugly it's cute... See? I don't think they're cute in a little baby face cute, but rather in that its a funny kind of cute.

Now, as for the puchiguso's posted on the CC2 site, some of those are darn ugly. u.u But then, no one ever said that cute babies stay cute forever. :)

Finally!!!!

I was starting to think I'd never make it to Theta! Well, I finally saw a grunty, not what I expected. They get big quick though, don't they? Anyone know where I can find some La Pumpkins. He keeps asking for those and I don't have any yet.

*ahems and pulls out hte notebook of much grunti-ness* XD (Asmaria could tell you all about me making that thing. o.o;;)

La Pumpkins, I think, can be found in desert fields. Two of which on the Theta server are:

Beautiful Someone's Fertile Land
Chronicling Passionate Paradise

I don't remember the levels, but I believe they're both fire. I believe. I'm too tired to remember whether they are or not and stuff. They're probably really high level, so... You can probably find lower levels that are like them.

The puchi in LoTB 06 was cool. He ran around saying Puchi Puchi Puchi! It was cute.

Has anyone kept track of what they feed grunties to get them to change into specific things? What's the recipe for a poison grunty?

I've found that if I manage to feed it exactly what it wants, I always get an iron grunty...and then it runs away if I already have another one!

Actually I found out that if you wait for the Grunty to talk and he can ask for specific food, if you talk to him he will give you a description of the food. I have no life so I will make a list and then edit my messages to include the list once I have them all down.

On another Grunty topic, does anyone know of some web sites that have pics of the Grunties you can get on other servers?

Really? They tell you the name of food if you stand around? Because I've always asked.
