in a way its kind of ironic, the poem talks about the end of a world

but in the games its mainly about a new beginning.... :?

Epitaph= prediction of the future? pfft, yea, and Aura's not an AI :P Emma wrote the Epitaph without any realization that it would be used for a game, Harold did program the AI's of the game to follow the Epitaph though, but since it was never completed, the AIs have free will and the story is sorta loose, here i shall dissect and interpret the Epitaph

Yet to return, the shadowed one
who quests for the Twilight Dragon
rumbles the dark hearth
(the shadowed one is probably Aura, searching for the Twilight Dragon, the person who can stop the Wave)

And Helba, Queen of the Dark, has raised finally her army
Apeiron, King of Light, beckons...
At the base of the rainbow doth they meet.
Against the abomniable "wave" together they fight.
(Helba's Army is obviously the Dot Hackers, Lios is the King of Light, and beckons for Helba to help stop the coma epidemic, at Lios' Domain, the "rainbow")

Alba's lake boils
(no idea, up to interpretation to keep thread alive)

Light's great tree doth fall
Power - all now to droplets turned in the temple of Arche Koeln
Returns to nothing, this world of shadowless ones.
(Light is Lios, and the great tree is probably the World itself, Aura's power has turn to droplets with the Awakening of the Phases, represented by the statue in the Arche Koeln Temple in Hidden Forbidden Holyground)

Never to return, the shadowed one,
who quests for the Twilight Dragon.
The wife buffeted by "waves" turns her back on the field.
(I do not know, up to interpretation)

The daughter that waited for the shadows repeated,
"For sure... For sure I can go home."
But the girl did not know...
The truth that waited at the end of the journey
The eternal mourning of her land.
(well obviously, this is Aura, waiting in the shadows so that Morganna can merge with her, her "home" is the World in it's balanced state, the way it's supposed to be, she did not know the truth, as the story was never finished, the Eternal Mourning of her land is obviously the Destruction of the World)

In the place of the calamitous, only life was known.
After the circling stars
When the eastern dark void, the air full of despair
In the depths of the divided forest, in the land of Karma,
(the calamitous place is the World, where life frolics beatifully, but then all goes to hell as the Phases awaken, the divided Forest of Karma is probably Aura's domain, a forest controlled by Tsukasa's emotions)

Riding fast on the path is Skeith
Bearing death's shadow, it eliminates all that seek to thawart it.
The Confusing Mirage, Innis
Decieves those that see it with illusions, rescues the waves
The wave soaring high, when its head is smashed,
A new wave will emerge
To become Magus's power.
When questioning the wave,
hope's light will be lost when he speaks of the
dark future of where sorrow and resignation reign.
Using Fiddlehiem's Technique
When englufed by the Waves of Calamity, Gole will plan
The sweet snare of conciliation is Maha
The Waves, an exceeding maelstrom
Nothing can escape
When you think you have escaped, Talvos exists
To destroy those with his exceeding cruelty
Upon violent requital, only to remain is the void, the vacant darkness
is the harbringer that Copernic is to appear.
(If I need to explain this to you, your an idiot)
