There should be 8, if I'm correct.

Seig if you are a true gamer you would not use a strategy guide but people play games there own way. yes tsukasa you are right there are 8 books of ryu if you use each book for your key item option you might get an item for your desktop on the game

Don't even start on the 'true gamer' bit >_>

People play games for different reasons. Some do it for the gameplay, some do it for the story. This doesn't make anyone less or more of a 'gamer'

A 'gamer' is someone who plays a lot of games, no matter how they play them. I, personally, care more for the story than the actual gameplay, thus I'm open to using strategy guides and/or walkthroughs. It hasn't taken away from my enjoyment of the games, and it takes away a lot of frustration that is, for me, distracting in Real Life when I try to do other things.

So, heading this off before it starts, I don't want to hear anything about who is and isn't a real gamer.

Thanks.

(And, as a note, don't post offensive things like that, especially when you seem to KNOW it's going to be offensive by putting 'no offense' in your subject line. That's just ridiculous.)

Personally? I'm a gamer eager for quick plot-advancement. Thus, while I disapprove of strategy guides, I don't have a problem if friends won't help me and I can't get anywhere or I'm done with the game.
