From what i have seen, of .Hack//Dusk, the novel .Hack//AI Buster, And some inside info, I have thought about the question, "What is the Key of the Twilight?"

What i believe is that the Bracelet is the key that unlocks Viruses. It is also known as a anti virus program that wasn't made by the CC Corp. but by a Hacker who wanted to have some fun. The Wandering AI In .Hack//Dusk was created to test the bracelet and the voice in the sky in .Hack//Sign are considered the same program to test the program but it was released before the bracelet. The bracelet is also Known in Japanese as the Key of Data, *Whitch hences the name Data Drain* and thats why i believe the bracelet is the Key of the Twilight.

i am guessing the sword at the log in is like that because it is a playstation game and they figured that everyone who plays already knows about it
