how many of you actually played the game in 1st-person mode? i found it to be a rather interesting option, especially if you could get a headset for it. anyway, the movement control just didn't feel right to me in 1st-person, plus i like to see the characters, so i used the standard 3rd-person perspective for about 98% of the game. but i did like being able to look up at the sky and see those creepy flying objects.
This post kinda reminds me of the time when I 'somehow' got into first person mode and didn't know how to get out of it... o_O I started to freak out, heheh... Yeah, that was back when I didn't know the game's controls too well n_n;;
First person mode is the shizz if you want a good look at things (I.E flying objects, skies, trees, dead bodies, skeletons, your party, etc.) otherwise it can be a pain. You have to a lot more camera rotating to view everything around you, enemies sneak up on you, and it can sometimes just be plainly uncomfortable.
But the good thing is having the option for either first person or third. Seems like a necessity, but if you think about it it's something you should be thankful for.
the first person mode is too... slow... for the controls of the game. Although, I do think I could get use to it. hack//sora, what headset did you get and where did you get it? I think it might be worth a shot getting one.
I like 1st person, because it's like I'm actually playing THE WORLD through a VR helmet.
that's the thing that I like about it. yes the one thing. honestly, it's just no good. like crimson knight said, you can't see if something is gonna ambush you (which I guess makes it more realistic). and you don't have the same amount of speed or control precision skills when you're in 3rd person.[/b]
