1st off, I'd like to introduce myself. The name is SeiferA, and I've been a lurker for the past few weeks now. Noticing that this is practicly the only board where questions are answered and what not, I decided to sign up today. It's a pleasure to be here.
Now then, on to the actual clarifications:
Currently, I'm creating my own fan "project .hack", which takes place before SIGN. There are some key differences due to my lack of knowledge of the whole series (Navis instead of Puchigusos, train system, etc...but with the same midevil-like setting). What I wanted to know is of (obviously) Aura and Morgana.
I know that both are AIs, but I'm not 100% clear as to what their objectives are. From what I can make, Aura's goal is to find the Twilight Dragon and Morgana is trying to stop her. But is it possible that Aura and Morgana were once at peace together? Morgana mentions that Aura is her daughter, and the creator also says the same...
Furthurmore, is it just lazyness that Aura looks different in the games compared to the anime? I would say it's because of age, but I also noticed her eye color is different...
Any other important details you can give me about them would really help me, and I'd be in your debt.

The new look of Aura in the game would not be from age. She is an AI, AI does not age. Even if Aura did age, the span from the end of SIGN to the games is only one year. So the best solution would be to say that Aura just created her own image the way she wanted to. In the state of where Morgana had her in a sleep, Morgana must have shaped Aura in her own way. So that is my guess, hopefully, it makes sense.
Morgana wasn't feeding off of Tsukasa's emotions at all. It wasn't feeding, really, but Aura was the one directly affected by some reason. Morgana had control over it only in the fact that she manipulated Tsukasa, setting him up to feel the way he did, but only so far as to trick him. She couldn't actually make him feel anything unless he did it himself. Her power is not absolute.
Morgana is still one of the larger mysteries of .hack, we don't have much information on her aside from what we see in //SIGN and what's mentioned in the games and possibly liminality (if we figure her to be closely tied to Emma.. that's also still in debate, though)

Morganna is the Wave the hunts the land.
Aura is the shadowed girl that seeks Twilight Dragon with White Human and Black Worrior.
Morganna is made to create Aura. But Morganna dislike Harold's plan so she tries to make Aura dark so she can carry out the plan in her own way. So she trap Tsukasa as Tsukasa provides the negative emtional frequency that Morganna wants to create Dark Aura. Morganna and Aura are collective AIs, so they grow as they recieve different emotion signals.
What Aura well ultimately bring to The World is unkown quote Hleba in vol.4 so she said she'll continue to observe to see what Aura well truely bring. But Harold create Aura to beocme an ultimate AI that carries multiple traits of human(that si why Aura is collective) as Ai has no "liminality" thta human has. Harold seeks evolution in both net and real. He casue disaster in real with Phases so he can crash Altimit and force technology to move on. And He create Aura for the evolution in the net.
