.Hack Manga Volume #1 English Edition?

Speaking of legit copies from Japan and english translations, does anyone know if the japanese dvds for .hack//sign have english subtitles on them? I know this is becoming more of a common occurance on japanese dvds, even though it'd still be region 2 ^-^; mmm, just wondering if it was true for .hack stuff

Nope. They sure don't. Once and awhile, you'll luck out with Japanese DVDs like that, but it's -very- rare to happen.
