No touchy

I'm somewhere around episode 8 or 9(where Mimiru waits in the field for Tsukasa), and I've noticed that the way Tsukasa interacts is quite different than everyone else. Tsukasa is never touched by anyone, unless it's agressive. Bear is always ruffling up Mimiru's hair and such, but Tsukasa only gets hit around. And they wonder why he's so shy. Does anyone think that this could be a metaphore? Or just further character development, so we feel sorry for him?

Tsukasa? he's touched by Subaru in many cases...
He doesnt toch the people because he FEEL it, the other PC's doesn't feel what they are toaching
And hes a scared Child...
I think there isnt an metaphore

I think you're right. I hadn't seen the whole series yet. I knew about him and Subaru just from the artwork that's around. I guess that it just crept me out when Mimiru tried to tap him on the shoulder( only to find it being someone else). I suppose he's just a guy with a lot of personal space. A lot of things point him in that direction, such as him being a lone wave master.

hmm... while I do agree that it helps to make him seem like an outcast, so to speak, I don't think it's really a metaphor... I remember him saying something about how warm mimiru's hand was after that baby grunty died (no idea what ep. sry). However, Ihaven't yet finished the series so I haven't seen the tsukasa subaru interaction.

Yeah that was the episode right after the one I started the thought with. That was the one with the baby grunty and the cherry thing. He seemed to have missed being touched. Though it killed a possible metaphore.
