What the heck is "OMFG" or "OMG"? all the people here say it and i have no idea what is it...
Essentially, they're both acronyms of exclaimations akin to something like "Oh, My Gosh!", which is the politest meaning of OMG. n.n

(The more commonly accepted meanings are slightly naughty/blasphemous & would have earned me a clip around the ear as a kid, so probably ought not be repeated here!)

Asmaria wrote:As much as I love .hack//... I think I've burnt myself out on it, to an extent at least... I wouldn't want to see anything else made really... because it would be pushing it to the point that they'd have to stretch for ideas, right? Although, I was -quite- amused by the beginning of this post. Thats just hilarious. ^_^; But I don't think I could handle much more than has already been put out. I think it'd just get repetitive at that point. :)
I rather think the same way at the moment. I too got burned out on .hack and having had a bit of a break doing/watching other things, am only just returning to the fold. Having said that, I remember being sceptical about the Udeden anime, until I saw it & became a believer once more!

If the rumours about a movie do turn out to have substance, then the fact it may take a while to appear is probably no bad thing - my brain & my wallet will probably be ready for more by that time. The MMORPG would be a great idea too, if they can pull it off.

*wonders if crimson would suit him...*

Those are American movies >_>

I mean a full-length animated feature film in Japan. As in, a Japanese scriptwriter is writing it >_>;;

I think .hack should end after the Dusk magna because if they don't the series will go on forever. If there was a movie it would be nothing like the games or the series because movies for series are usually alternate versions from what happens in the anime.

No, because his examples listed implied he assumed that I meant an american scriptwriter had picked up the rights a la Dead or Alive or Metroid.

Actually, y'know, now that I think of it: RE was a video game about pwnzing Zombies... of course it'd be a good movie as long as there was explosions.

I dunno. There are several examples of video games which involve pwnzing but fail horribly.

I wouldn't mind a movie expecially if it was done well...just as long is it isn't one of those real life ones...bad expreinces doin that with anime...
-.-;;(remembers the live action dbz movie) then again it work for american comic hero like spider men and x-men...so it might work. I'd still day go for an animated movie though.

What does MMORPG stand for...I get the rpg part...but I'm lost on the MMO

The live action DBZ movie is guaranteed to be the most brilliant unintentionally hillarious film ever produced. I anticipate its coming with great hope.

All you care about is the explosions, isn't it? XD

However, I think the difference is, having the budget to -care-. You know? Budget is a VERY important thing in the film business in the end...
