pwnzing is an adaptation of the word owning(obviously). Notice that the p and o keyes are next to each other on the keyboard. That whole thing started off with a few people that messed it up, thought it looked cool, and continued doing it.

I can't think of ANY american actors/actresses that would be suitable for any role in .hack. Maybe the characters are just too young. Naw, it's all way wrong. They'd never do that, it would kill .hack.

I don't think the live action would be done in america, it'd been either japanese or chinese. Live action isn't that bad, in fact I've heard that a lot of them are actualy pretty decent. They're just better suited for shoujo soap-opera material, not .hack//sign.
